That’s why our annual fishing trip in Port O’Connor, Texas, is one of our favorite traditions. This year marked our 4th Annual Fishing Trip, and it was made even more special through our continued partnership with the Cotton Foundation in support of Disabled Outdoorsmen.

A Mission Worth Supporting: Disabled Outdoorsmen

Disabled Outdoorsmen is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities by giving them opportunities to experience the great outdoors—whether through fishing, hunting, or other outdoor adventures. Their mission is simple but powerful: to prove that limitations don’t define someone’s ability to live fully and connect with nature. Through adaptive equipment, volunteer support, and community partnerships, they’ve created life-changing experiences for people who might not otherwise have the chance to enjoy them.

For us, supporting this mission aligns with our values—creating access, building connections, and strengthening community bonds.

This year, we were proud to join hands again with the Cotton Foundation, whose commitment to service and community mirrors our own. With the help of Cotton Culinary, attendees enjoyed delicious meals prepared and donated by their talented team, fueling a weekend full of camaraderie, laughter, and unforgettable moments out on the water.

Their generosity not only filled our plates but also reminded us of what’s possible when local businesses come together with shared purpose.

The fishing trip brought together Pace team members, friends, clients, and participants from Disabled Outdoorsmen for a weekend of fun, relaxation, and connection. But more than that, it was a chance to celebrate resilience, determination, and the healing power of nature.
